So you’re looking for a Christian business opportunity working from home? Well, I have good news. Believe it or not, there are a few wonderful Christian home-based businesses which are well worth your time looking into. However, allow me to add a note of warning. Additionally, there are many business opportunities out there, especially Internet-based business opportunities, that claim to be based on Christian principles, but aren’t.
So how can you know when you’ve discovered the real thing?
There are numerous things that you need to know about a business opportunity before you opt to sink some hard-earned cash into it. I spent weeks and months examining several online business opportunities, some of which claimed to be Christian established, only to be disappointed time after time. And so, I began narrowing my search and started searching for very specific things that will help me concentrate on an actual Christian home-based business.
Here are my tips for finding the ideal Christian business opportunity for you.
The Lord gave Solomon the choice of being grated anything he asked. Rather than ask for riches and wealth Solomon asked for wisdom. As a consequence of being blessed with intellect Solomon gained greater prosperity and popularity than any person alive. Wisdom is essential in being able to observe the directions that the Lord may be pointing you as you look for a home-based business – particularly one based on Christian principles and values. Josh rathour Therefore, instead of praying for money or success, pray for knowledge to find the business opportunity the Lord wants you to combine.
Find out who’s the Captain of the ship: Many home-based business opportunities are centered around someone who holds themselves up as an example of excellent entrepreneurial and financial success. All you have to do is follow their easy formula and you’ll be successful too – or so they say. But, I didn’t wish to hear from a person who took all of the glory for their own success, I wanted to find somebody who attained success by making Jesus Christ that the Captain of the boat.
Listen to hear when they talk of God, or simply do a lot of God-talk: There is a massive difference between people who talk of God and the successes they’ve achieved from the Lord blessing their home-based business venture, versus those who only do a lot of God-talk. Each unbeliever knows the way to do a lot of God-talk – simply throwing in the words God and Jesus in their presentations. But people that are living Christ-centered lives enjoy sharing their faith with others in the course of conducting business. The CEO and creator of this home-based business I had been involved with made a statement in a movie that really grabbed my attention. In nature, he said we do a lot of talking about the Lord here, so if this offends you then you want to appear elsewhere for a business opportunity. Wow! I loved his candor.
Find out how a number of other Christians are in this business: An authentic Christian home-based business opportunity is going to be full of other Christians just like you. In fact, once I contacted the creator and CEO of the business and told him I was at the ministry that he instantly put me in contact with a guy who would become my Christian mentor in creating my own home-based business enterprise through this organization’s program. I’ve since met other people who are prospering from the Lord’s blessings.
Inspect the products and the program: Home-based businesses that generate the most profits are the ones which offer substantial commissions or overrides on products sold or from the others you bring into the business. Products at the reduced price range could be easier for people to afford, but it takes selling a ton of them to make any decent cash flow. Big-ticket or reasonably priced ticket items are a lot more rewarding in creating wealth. Additionally, find a business opportunity that doesn’t force you to pass your initial one or two prospects to your up-line? One-up or two-up apps have limited success. Anyway, if the Lord led those initial one or two individuals to youpersonally, why wouldn’t he need you to keep being their mentor?
Look for a servant’s heart: Those who have successful Christian home-based businesses also have servant’s hearts. They know their lives are blessed with the Lord and now they would like to be a spring of blessing to others. They also know the earthly and eternal benefits which come from being a true slave to other people. Therefore, start looking for a home-based business at which you will be nurtured and mentored by people whose desire is to serve others as they have been served.
I suppose I’ve narrowed down the field a long time, haven’t I? I surely hope so, because that has been my intention. It took me a time to find the best one for me and I truly feel blessed whatsoever. Don’t jump in the first seemingly great (” too good to be true”) opportunity. Allow the Lord do the top. Make a Solomon and Request wisdom.
